The Promise of Deliverance V. 1-2- Consequences of her sin are sure and decisive V. 3-5- But then deliverance will come V. 6-8- not in man to accomplish this but God CAN do this

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28 ESV) …for he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. So we can confidently say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me? (Hebrews 13:5-6 ESV)

The promise of enduring strength V.26- God calls out the starry host by name, misses none. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. (Matthew 10:29-31 ESV)

It is not in man to resist loneliness, weariness and confusion, but God CAN bring us through these trials

The promise of consolation from God has not changed He still promises deliverance The good news of reward and compassion And enduring strength to bring us through the trials of life
