5 The FR-2RU-10-2 is a compact frame with room for up to 10 Flashlink modules of any combination, in addition to two fixed positions for power supply modules. 21 Wavelength Division Multiplexing - principle Flashlink has 3 types of WDM: WDM: 2 wavelengths per fiber CWDM: 16 wavelengths per fiber DWDM: 40 wavelengths per fiber All-optical multiplexing, no electrical interface All channels are completely independent Direction-, bit-rate- and protocol-transparent
