PROCEDURE: Distribute hand-outs ABOUT people in different countries. Students had to: 1 select key words from hand-outs to describe people 2 debate on choosing the most representative key words to describe people 3 paint the key words on their arm and hands 4 ‘display’ and share the new information acquired

WHAT DO WE (THINK WE) KNOW ABOUT THEM? About the activity: New topic Students reluctant at the beginning, then became interested in reading more about the topic Using different skills including body painting to encourage interaction in English on the topic
