Remote ILL Set Up Prerequisites for ILL Download the ALEPH ILL2 software client To access the ALEPH ILL2 software client, you must download it to your computer. (see separate download instructions). 2

Remote ILL Set Up Logging in to the software Go to your computer's Start Menu, Programs, Aleph 500 and activate your Aleph client ( Interlibrary Loan 2) by double clicking. You will see a login window: Please contact SDLN for your user name and password. 3

Remote ILL Set Up Review Partner record Once you are logged in, you must review your partner record: Tab 1 - Your partner status Tab 3 – Borrowing Unit information Tab 4 – Lending Unit information Tab 5 - Contact information 4

Remote ILL Set Up Module tabs Borrowing Lending Administrative Search Partner records are accessed via the Administrative tab 5

Remote ILL Set Up Viewing Partners - Administration Tab ILL partner records are viewed and updated through the Administration/Partner node in the Administration tab of the Integrated ILL module. You may edit/update the information for your ILL unit only. 6

Remote ILL Set Up Find your partner record Search for your partner record by typing in your unit code and clicking Go Choose Code from the dropdown list 7

Remote ILL Set Up Lower pane – Tab 1 Partner Info Make sure your partner status is Active – after you make a change, click Update 8

Remote ILL Set Up Lower pane – Tab 3 – Borrowing Unit information Make sure 1 - Allowed Borrowing and 2 - Borrowing Unmediated Locate are checked, and 3 - No Check is selected for Check Local Own Procedure, also 4 - check your Pickup Sublibrary, when you make a change, click Update 9

Remote ILL Set Up Lower pane – Tab 4 – Lending Unit information Make sure 1 - Allowed Lending and 2 - Lending Unmediated Locate are NOT checked and that 3 – no Circ Sublibrary is checked, when you make a change, click Update 10

Remote ILL Set Up Lower pane – Tab 5 Gen Contact Make sure your contact information is correct and current, when you make a change, click Update 11
