Path of O 2 and CO 2 G Partial Pressure is exerted by a certain gas among a mixture of other gasses. G Partial pressure is a measure of how much of that gas is present in a mixture. G Gas diffuses in the direction with the least the partial pressure. G Simple Diffusion - Oxygen diffuses through the membrane and plasma, and is taken up by the RBC (Red Blood Cells.)
