Listen Up! Use sound stretching of one syllable words to identify each phoneme.

Words are made up of sounds.
Sometimes there are sounds in words that are made up of more than one letter. For example, the word “math” is spelled with four letters, but you only hear three sounds. We are going to practice listening to words to determine how many sounds are in the word, and how the word is correctly spelled.
