When the Earth Moves
2
Num 16:31-32 31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: 32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.

HEAR.YE.HIM_ 57-0807: Par E-31 “…When the supernatural is done, what did I say the last time I was here? There's always a mixed multitude goes with it. When Moses was down in Egypt, the supernatural was done; a mixed multitude got into it. There was believers, unbelievers, and make believers. And they was the one who polluted the camp. Out of that come Korah. Korah was swallowed up with the earth…”

Num 16:1-3 1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men: 2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, MEN OF RENOWN: 3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

Num 13:31-33 31 But the men that went up with him said, We be NOT ABLE to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. 32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. 33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
6
Num 14:1-3 1 And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night. 2 And ALL the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the WHOLE congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! 3 And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? Were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

GOD.KEEPS.HIS.WORD. 57-0306: Par E-18 Then they got them a false prophet. When people won't receive the truth, though it be in the minority, they'll raise them up a false prophet. The Bible said in the last days that false prophets, the people would heap for themselves teachers, having itching ears, and would be turned away from the truth unto fables. Now, God has to keep His Word; He has to do it. Turned away from truth unto fables... And you notice they went and got another man by the name of Korah. And Korah got all the people together as many as he could, and pulled them off, and segregated them from the rest of them and started himself a little denomination of his own, saying, "There's more prophets besides Moses. There's more holy men. We are all holy men. And each one of us has just as much right to believe this as they have to believe that." But, brother, it was a lie to begin with.

WHY.IT.HAD.TO.BE.SHEPHERD 64-1221: Par 155 God told Moses, "Separate yourself from him, I've had enough of it." And remember, Jude speaks the same thing, in the last days. That's right, "They perished in the gainsaying of Korah." We also know what happened to Korah and the-- and the rest that questioned God's Word and God's wisdom of that one-man leadership : every one of them perished.

Num 16:25-27 25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him. 26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins. 27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.

GOD.KEEPS.HIS.WORD.2_ 57-0307: Par E-27 Last night, in the service last night, I preached on Korah, who raised up, and he had about all Israel ready to stone Moses, Caleb, and Joshua. And they were certainly on the minority, but God was with them. And the Bible said that in the last days this thing will be repeated again: woe unto them; they have run in the error of Cain, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah, spots in your love-feast, tossed about with every wind of doctrine. Who's he speaking about? The church in the last days; that's this church, tossed about with every little thing comes along.

Num 16:28-35 28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind. 29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me. 30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD. 31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: 32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. 33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

Num 26:9-11 9 And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD: 10 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign. 11 Notwithstanding the children of Korah died not.

GOD.KEEPS.HIS.WORD.1_ PHOENIX.AZ WEDNESDAY_ 57-0306: Par E-18 “…And Korah got all the people together as many as he could, and pulled them off, and segregated them from the rest of them and started himself a little denomination of his own, saying, "There's more prophets besides Moses. There's more holy men. We are all holy men. And each one of us has just as much right to believe this as they have to believe that." But, brother, it was a lie to begin with.

Psalm 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Psalm 127:5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

1 Chron 9:19 And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the host of the LORD, were keepers of the entry

GO.WAKE.JESUS_ 63-1103: Par 5 “…And we need today a rising up of the prophet, like it was in the days of Samuel, when Eli, when he was begin to grow dim, and the lights was going out in the temple of God. Then God raised on the scene. And we pray, Lord, that you will rise on the scene tonight among us, and will show Yourself alive, the--the great prophet of all prophets, the Son of the living God.
