M Y G OAL T O BE REFLECTIVE AND USE READINGS TO INFORM MY PRACTICE. I chose my goal because I saw the importance of being a reflective practitioner. I felt that this was an area in my practice I could improve and that it would have a lot of positive outcomes. WHAT I AM DOING! Reflecting on my practice by: Constantly reflecting on my teaching and learning in the classroom. Making anecdotal notes during lessons and when conferencing with students. Videoing my teaching and students responses and reflecting on what I could see and hear. Using readings to inform my practice: Complete readings around my teaching practice. Take notes and use these to plan and teach.

S UCCESSES AND IMPACT ON MY TEACHING I am becoming a clearer more effective teacher. I am continuing to learn and grow as a teacher. Readings allow me to learn and improve my teaching strategies and question and think about my classroom and teaching practice. I have started to think more about why I do things and the reason and evidence for this. Being reflective has lead me to improve my practice in many areas.
