Indirect object pronouns are used to tell whom something is done to or whom an action is done for Je parle au garcon. -Who did you speak to? - au garcon Use SPV Use SPV- Use lui (used to replace to him or her) - Final sentence : Je lui parle. Leur is used to replace plural nouns: Carole donne aux filles le cadeau. -Who did Carole give the card to? -Les filles -Use leur to replace les filles. -Final sentence: Carole leur donne le cadeau. INDIRECT OBJECT PRONOUNS

The pronoun used for replace places is Y, it means there Y replaces à + place/thing, or prepostions such as sur, dans, or chez+noun For example: Qui va au parc? -Charles y va. -Y replaces au parc ( a place_ SPV! Another example: -Il voyage en France Il y voyage. Y

En is used to replace things with quantities and numbers, often a form of de+ noun En means – some, any, etc. For example: Vous donnez du lait au bebe? Oui, je en donne au bebe. Another example: La cuisnere prepare des repas. La cuisinere en prepare. EN
