KEMENTERIAN KOMUNIKASI DAN INFORMATIKA REPUBLIK INDONESIA Menuju Masyarakat Informasi Indonesia CURRENT POLICY (1)  1945 Constitution, fourth amendment of 2002, article 28 f mandate : “Every person has the right to communicate and obtain information to develop personal and social environment, and the right to seek, obtain, possess, keep, process and convey information by using all available channels”  Law Number 39 of 1999, article 14: paragraph 1 “Every person has the right to communicate and obtain information necessary to develop personal and social environment” paragraph 2 “Every person has the right to seek, obtain, possess, keep, process and convey information by using all available means”  Law Number 4 of 1997, article 5 : “Every person with dissabilities have equal rights and equal opportunities in every aspect of life and livelihood”

KEMENTERIAN KOMUNIKASI DAN INFORMATIKA REPUBLIK INDONESIA Menuju Masyarakat Informasi Indonesia CURRENT POLICY (2)  Decree of Minister of Communication and Information Technology Number 17 of 2010 article 440 : “Directorate of Informatics Empowerment has the task to carrying out the preparation of policy formulation, policy implementation, preparation of norms, standards, procedures, and criteria as well as providing technical guidance and evaluation in the field of Informatics Empowerment” article 440 : “Sub Directorate of Informatics Empowerment for Special People has the task to prepare materials for the formulation and implementation of policies, preparation of norms, standards, procedures and criteria, as well as providing technical guidance and evaluation in the field of Informatics Empowerment for Special People”

KEMENTERIAN KOMUNIKASI DAN INFORMATIKA REPUBLIK INDONESIA Menuju Masyarakat Informasi Indonesia SUGGESTION  Collaborate and learn from the member of ASEAN Country about best practices for ICT Accessibility for People with Dissabilities  Persuade many Companies and Civil Society Organizations to care and help People with Dissabilities  Give Infrastructures such as Telecenters for People with Dissabilites  Held Seminar and Workshop for People with Dissabilies about using ICT and broaden their knowledge about career in ICT industry  Persuade People without Dissabilities to respect and give People with Dissabilites the same right and opportunities in every aspect of life
