2 These standards define the knowledge and skills students should have within their K-12 education so they will graduate high school able to succeed in entry-level, credit- bearing academic college courses and in the workforce. They are designed to be robust and relevant to the real world. The new learning standards stress conceptual understanding and application. They are internationally benchmarked to guarantee our students are competitive in the emerging global marketplace.

4  Algebra I  Geometry  Algebra II  4 th Math  Bridge to Algebra II will count as a graduation requirement but will not count towards the lottery scholarship.

5  Algebra III  Pre-Calculus  AP Calculus AB  AP Calculus BC  College Algebra  AP Statistics (can be taken along with one of the other courses above Algebra II)

10 9 th Algebra I 10 th Geometry 11 th Algebra II 12 th 4 th Math * These students WILL qualify for the lottery scholarship

11 9 th Algebra I 10 th Geometry 11 th Bridge 12 th Algebra II * These students will NOT qualify for the lottery scholarship

12 9 th - Geometry 10 th - Bridge 11 th – Algebra II 12 th – 4th choice

13 9 th – Algebra II 10 th – Pre- Calculus 11 th – 5 th math 12 th – “upper level” choice

14 10 th Geometry 11 th Algebra II 12 th 4 th Math These students qualify for the lottery scholarship.

15 10 th Geometry 11 th Bridge 12 th Algebra II These students would NOT qualify for the lottery scholarship.

17 10 th Algebra II 11 th Pre- Calculus** 12 th 4 th Math ** Students must have already completed Geometry

20 11 th Pre-Calculus 12 th 5 th Math

21 11 th – AP Calculus AB 12 th – “upper level”

22  Please write questions on your ‘Parent Night’ hand-out (green for junior high, blue for high school) and place on the tables at the back of the auditorium. An administrator will contact you as soon as possible.  Frequently asked questions will be posted on the Junior High and High School web pages.
