Last Fall… We looked at what a healthy body looked like based upon Ephesians 4:16 “…the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:16

3. Exercising Gifts God Has Allotted To Us “Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly” Romans 12:6–8

4. WHAT HAS GOD ALLOTTED TO YOU?

5. A Variety of Gifts Romans 12:6-8 – Prophecy, serving, teaching, exhorting, giving, leading, showing mercy. 1 Corinthians 12:5 (NKJV) – “Differences of Ministries” 1 Corinthians 12:11 – “The same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.”

6. USING WHAT YOU HAVE

7. Brethren In Need (Acts 6) Some have the time and energy. Some have the financial means. Some can write/call to encourage our brethren in need.

8. Bible Studies (Acts 20:7-8) Some have the gift of hospitality. Some have the gift of teaching. NOTE: Depending on circumstances – some with the gift of giving – might provide the means on behalf of the host in providing snacks/meals.

9. Sharing The Gospel One has the gift and desire to preach. Another has the financial means for the gospel to be preached. Another spends his time in fervent prayer so the gospel can be proclaimed unencumbered.

10. Providing Rides To Worship Services Some of a car to pickup those needing a ride. (NOTE: this burden can be shared by others providing rides) Others who want to help but live “out of the way” might share in this service by helping with gas money.

11. Prison Studies Some can write to inmates. Others have time/energy to be at jail for support. Others can teach. Some can pray for this endeavor.

12. …What You Have – 2 Cor. 8:12 Time & Energy – will you use what you have? Teacher – will you use what you have? Exhorter – will you use what you have? Prayer – will you use what you have? Giver – will you use what you have?
