No financial support as last years PHARE project has not been granted Incomprehension of the AH projects benefits by state and subordinate forest officials, private forest owners, and hardwood processing companies Inactivity of Supreme forest authorities Lack of experienced and competent English-speaking staff in the region Access to specific forest inventory data is limited PROBLEMS

23. PERSPECTIVES ? Some work could be done with the support of Kėdainiai Forest Enterprise High economical potential of the hardwoods is at least acknowledged by state and Supreme forest authorities This years PHARE project will be granted (?) The work must go on!
