History The GTR (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2014/27) was:
approved at the extraordinary session of the GRPE in November 2013 adopted by WP.29 on March 3, 2014 published as ECE/TRANS/180/Add.15 along with technical report ECE/TRANS/180/Add.15/Appendix 1 on May 12, 2014

Development since November 2013
Numerous editorial changes have been incorporated, e.g. Spelling mistakes and/or use of better terms Criterion (singular) and criteria (plural) Class 1/2/3 vehicles instead of class 1/2/3 vehicles The term „sub-paragraph“ was replaced by the corresponding paragraph numbers Precondition instead of pre-condition Corrected punctuation A generic exhaust dilution system figure was found to have been used twice All equations have been numbered They all start in each Annex or Appendix with (1) Cross references have been checked and corrected where necessary Consistent use of the symbol × to mean multiplication Addition of OVC and NOVC in the list of abbreviations

Tracking changes ( page 1 of 2)
Minor editorial changes can be found by searching for “GTR CORRECTION” or by using the “next element” option tracking feature in Word Items which have not yet received feedback from experts can be found by searching for “OPEN POINTS” e.g.: OPEN POINT: : The EV group has been requested to provide a clearer definition of “charge-depleting break off criterion” e.g.: OPEN POINT: : The term “highest fuel consuming mode” is term is not used in the GTR. Request to all experts that the definition be deleted.

Tracking changes (page 2 of 2)
Items having received expert feedback can be found searching for “EXPERT APPROVAL” e.g.: EXPERT PROPOSAL: Experts from Ford, BMW, UTAC agree that the minus sign [in certain road load resistance equations] should be removed. Items having been approved by the Informal Working Group can be found searching for “CONFIRMATION” e.g. CONFIRMATION: : Minus sign removed. This was not deemed to be a point which would have to go to the IWG
6
Future work (page 1 of 3) It would appear that the majority of editorial errors have been identified and corrected. Replacing the term “should” with “shall” where it is correct to do so. A number of OPEN POINTS are still awaiting expert feedback. EXPERT APPROVAL for minor items can be quickly implemented in the GTR but EXPERT APPROVAL on major items will have a deadline set by the Informal Working Group (IWG). Major items approved by the IWG will be labelled CONFIRMED in the GTR.
7
Future work (page 2 of 3) Incorporating major changes such as:
Hydrogen fuel Use of the term “mass” Open EV issues Changes to downscaling Onboard anemometry / Wind speed criteria Road load family concept Wind tunnel method Torque meter method Alternative warming up procedure Default road load parameters
8
Future work (page 3 of 3) Incorporating major changes such as (continued): Validation test plan Sailing Ambient condition testing (where applicable) Density of NMHC Additional pollutants Normalisation procedures
