By Dan Vanevenhoven,N9LVS Copyright 2005 Affiliated Club Annual Report Form uEach affiliated club is required to submit an annual report form FSD-2 each year l Contains all of the latest information about the club. uHowever, if there is a change in officers, addresses or other data, a report can be submitted at any time.

Your club data sheet will appear. l Go to the bottom of the page where it asks for update information, complete with new data and submit. uThe contact person (officer) of each club should access and check their information sheet and submit an update if necessary.

By Dan Vanevenhoven,N9LVS Copyright 2005 Categories of Affiliation uThe following types of clubs can affiliate with the ARRL l Local Amateur Radio clubs l Regionally or nationally organized Amateur Radio groups l Local school or youth groups l Amateur Radio clubs in homes for the elderly or disabled l Club councils (clubs of clubs).

By Dan Vanevenhoven,N9LVS Copyright 2005 Affiliation Requirements uAt least 51% of your voting membership must be full or associate ARRL members. uAt least 51% of your voting membership must be licensed amateurs. uYou must have a club constitution. uYour club's goals must not conflict with the goals of the ARRL.

By Dan Vanevenhoven,N9LVS Copyright 2005 Affiliation Requirements (Cont.) uFor a school or youth group club, only one member (president, faculty advisor or similar person) must be an ARRL member. Also, the club name must indicate that the group is youth or school oriented. uFor a Club Council, 51% of the clubs in the council must be active affiliated clubs.

SSCs are clubs with active training classes, publicity programs and members who actively pursue technical projects and operating activities.

By Dan Vanevenhoven,N9LVS Copyright 2005 SSC Benefits uIuIn addition to the Affiliated Club benefits, SSCs also receive the following additional benefits: lAlARRL Headquarters furnishes SSCs with lists/labels of newly licensed amateurs in the immediate area on a regular basis to help in recruiting new members. lSlSSCs get special recognition in QST as they renew or become SSCs. lSlSSCs are also eligible to appoint local Awards Managers.
