14 Verse 2: How can your pardon reach and bless The unforgiving heart That broods on wrongs and will not let Old bitterness depart?

15 Verse 3: In blazing light your cross reveals The truth we dimly knew: What trivial debts are owed to us; How great our debt to you!

16 Verse 4: Lord, cleanse the depths within our souls And bid resentment cease; Then, bound to all in bonds of love Our lives will spread your peace.

17 Opening Verses Pastor:
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you. All: And also with you.

18 Confession of Sin Pastor:
We have come into the presence of God, who created us to love and to serve him as his dear children. But we have disobeyed him and deserve only his wrath and punishment. Therefore, let us confess our sins to him and plead for his mercy.
