ERPA Project – Horizon 2020 – Cosmetics Projects (e.g.)

10 Version 5, Revised on 30.01.2014 ERPA 2014 ©  Personnalising health and care o Topic: New approaches to improve predictive human safety testing o Specific challenge: Current approaches assessing the safety of chemical substances in humans are expensive and time consuming, and may be of limited relevance as a predictor of adverse effects. Better approaches are needed both to improve the efficiency of predictive toxicological testing to address key areas of concern for human health and to meet regulatory requirements. Safety testing is of worldwide concern and therefore international cooperation may be an important element in addressing the challenge. o Details: 2- stage call for proposals with following deadlines: 2014-10-14(stage 1) & 2015-02-24 (stage 2) o Requirements: involvement of research communities, SMEs, industry and regulatory agencies, international cooperation (USA) o Budget: 10-15Million Euros o Follow up of NOTOX project (Cosmectics Europe co funder) 10 20.
