Men’s Styles Early 20’s Short suit jackets (long = formal) High waisted jackets worn with belts – Military roots Trousers were relatively narrow and straight (never tapered) and they were worn rather short so that a man's socks often showed. Some cuffed

Mid 20’s 1925 – wide trousers – “Oxford Bags” Suit jackets normal waist – lapels wider – loose fitting sleeves Late 1920s - double breasted vests, often worn with a single breasted jacket, also became quite fashionable. Sport clothes – sweaters & short trousers – Knickers Short tuxedo used frequently Two-toned white and tan or white and black shoes

Children Fashions Rompers and short dresses replaced filly lace dresses for babies and toddlers (boys & girls) Older girls – cotton frocks, cardigan sweaters and canvas shoes and sandals
