2. SIX-DIGIT USSGL ACCOUNTS Expand standard length of USSGL Account for future expansion of the USSGL General Ledger Complies with CGAC Current length of USSGL Accounts is four- digits  1010.XX

3. SIX-DIGIT USSGL ACCOUNTS Current number of digits in the USSGL Accounts will be expanded to six digits. The USSGL Account Number has two components:  USSGL Account Code – Six digits  USSGL Account Extension Code – Two digits assigned by the agency for agency specific reporting needs.

4. SIX-DIGIT USSGL ACCOUNTS Proposed Structure (initial)  Add two zeros “00” to the end of current USSGL Account  101000.00 Agencies can not modify six digits Agencies can use the two digit extension at their discretion

5. SIX-DIGIT USSGL ACCOUNTS Effective 2013  TFM Release  Bulletin Six-Digits will be implemented in GTAS Future restructuring of USSGL Accounts  Timeframe – TBD  IRC input and participation
