Summary of Top 30 Fastest Growing Occupations 77% of the fastest growing occupations have very high or high average salaries Of the 17 occupations having a VERY HIGH average salary –3 require an Associates Degree –9 require a Bachelor’s Degree –3 require a Masters Degree –2 require a Doctorate Of the 6 having a HIGH average salary –4 require an Associate’s Degree –1 requires a Bachelor’s –1 requires OJT Of the LOW or VERY LOW average salary occupations, most require on the job training EDUCATION MATTERS!

Construction Carpenters Job Zone 3 – Medium Preparation Overall Experience Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required for these occupations. For example, an electrician must have completed three or four years of apprenticeship or several years of vocational training, and often must have passed a licensing exam, in order to perform the job. Education Most occupations in this zone require training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree. Some may require a bachelor's degree.
