2. Vision Statement Vision Our vision for American School of Productive Citizens Career Academy (ASPCCA) is to develop an awareness of our environment, a sense of pride and patriotism through the empowerment of knowledge and hope for the future.

Mission Statement Mission The mission of American School of Productive Citizens Career Academy (ASPCCA)is to provide a secondary public school option for the families residing within the South Metro County School Districts attendance zone with an academic and career focused curricula leading to higher education and promising occupations focusing on the expanding green industry field.

4. Technology Vision Statement Students will be expected to apply the basics in authentic, integrated ways to solve problems, complete projects, and creatively extend their abilities. To help teachers in grades 9 – 12 identify several higher-order thinking skills and digital citizenship as critical for students to learn effectively for a lifetime and live productively in our emerging global society.

6. Goals Goal 1: Improve student academic achievement through the use of technology with a target of fully integrating technology into the academic curriculum. Goal 2: Ensure that quality teachers, staff, and administrators are involved in ASPCCA educational plan and that they are proficient in the use and integration of technology through Professional Development.

Goals Goal 3: Ensure that all 9 – 12 grade resources are available for all students (regardless of race, ethnicity, income, geographical location, or disability) to become technologically literate and achieve their academic potential. Goal 4: Develop a continuous process of evaluation and accountability for the use of Educational Technology as a teaching/learning tool, measurement and analysis tool for student achievement.

8. Summary of Goals Understanding and using technology will be an integral part of virtually every aspect of daily life. It is the ASPCCA responsibility to prepare students for the future. Every classroom must be equipped with diverse technologies to support teaching and learning. Every teacher must be knowledgeable and skilled in the use of these technologies in daily instruction. 13. Itemized budget and rationale Teachers will receive training throughout the next school year on best practices with the ActivBoards. A SWOT analysis will be conducted to determine feasibility of incorporating best practices with the ActivBoards.
