2. July 12 A vicious fight broke out in the prison church on Sunday. Visiting hours begin at 1 O’clock on Sunday. Bid Whist is a card game like bridge.

3. July 12 In the recreational center on Sunday the inmates watched baseball. A corridor is a hallway. The New York streets are empty on Sundays.

4. July 12 Steve could see Jerry from the visiting room window. Steve’s mother was mourning or grieving for her son.

5. July 12 Steve states that he desperately wishes his time in prison was only a movie. On Monday the prosecution will bring in their star witnesses.

6. July 13 The witness Lorelle Henry is a retired School Librarian who was in the drugstore at the time of the robbery. The robbery took place on December 22.

7. July 13 Richard “Bobo” Evans is 22 years old and has known James King all his life. Bobo is in prison for 5 to 10 years for selling drugs. Chrome is another term for gun.

8. July 13 Bobo and James King spent some of the stolen money on fried chicken and wedgies. When the camera faded to CARTOON CITY, hurdy-gurdy music began to play.

9. July 13 When the state rests its case that means the prosecution has finished their argument.
