6.  TCBS agar  Use: selective medium of Vibrio cholorae (Figure n°8 ).  Growth: V. cholorae gives yellow colonies due to fermentation of sucrose. Others vibrios give pale colonies because they not ferment sucrose (Figure n°9 ).
