Still wines: one of Chile’s top ten recognized and prestigious brands. Sparkling wine: first producer in America, currently the second biggest exporter from Chile, 70 % of the market shares in Chile). Philosophy: “New World wines with Old Word elegance and finesse”.

5 Santiago: sparkling wine second fermentation. –The winery was built right where Don Alberto Valdivieso started to produce sparkling, early 20 th century. Different types of tanks for storage, and for second fermentation (Charmat Method). Valdivieso facilities: Celia Solar Winery (Santiago) Underground cellar for bottle fermentation and aging (Traditional Method). Senior Winemaker: Eugenio Gomez. Show room, wine tasting and classroom facility.

6 Valdivieso facilities: Lontué Winery (Curicó Valley) Base wines for sparkling wines and still wines. Different tank capacities are used, depending on the wine type. 11 Classic Line Expressing the purest character of each variety. This line focuses on the fruit character, enhancing the aroma, and typical flavors of each variety. Excellent wine for every day drinking, must be served young to enjoy its potential, its fruit and balance.

12 Winemaker Reserva Wines of greater complexity, expressing the purest character of each variety. Wine for every day consumption, fresh and intense, with greater volume in mouth (6 month in barrel). This line includes non conventional varieties (Syrah, Carménère y Malbec).

13 Reserve “Single Valley”  Wines represents the best variety of each Chilean Valley.  Leyda, Casablanca, Curicó, Maipo, Colchagua, Rapel, and some others: “One Valley, one Variety”.  Complex wines, of greater elegance, high aging potential and impressive freshness.  French oak (12 months)*  Exclusive varieties: Viognier, Pinot Noir.

Blanc), Pinot Noir (Cauquenes), Old Vines (Malbec, Cabernet Franc ).

15 ECLAT VIGNO Carignan Blend 2008  Valdivieso´s emblematic wine.  Eclat represents the Maule Valley exceptional terroir (Secano) and its vineyards.  Traditional and old Carignan vineyards.  Complex wine, of greater complexity and character, with high aging potential.  French oak (14* months).  Assemblage produced with old and insusual varieties (Carignan, Syrah and Mourvedre).

16 ECLAT Botrytis Semillón 2011  Wine of European origin and tradition, unique in its kind.  Curicó Valley vineyards (close to the Andes mountains).  Complex wine, elegant, with a soft sweetness expressing the New World Semillón, with the Old World finesse.  The “Chilean Sauternes” (Best Chilean Sweet Wine).  Only produced with specific weather conditions, allowing Botrytis of Semillón.  French oak (50% and 12 months).

17 Caballo Loco  Colchagua, Maipo and Curicó Vineyards (Sagrada Familia).  Unique wine in its kind in Chile, high complexity, elegance and very high aging potencial.  French oak (18 months),  Assemblage which combines the best varieties, valleys and vintages (solera system).  Edition wine (non-vintage wine)  Caballo Loco is the best expression of our philosophy : “New World wines with Old Word elegance and finesse”.
