7 Log into RefWorks Off campus: RWUWestOnt

8 Set-up RefWorks account Use your UWO email address Use a combination username and password that is different than your UWO username and password YOUR TURN

9 Import References Western Libraries Catalogue Research Databases Manually

10 Add records from the catalogue From the catalogue record – Click on RefWorks image

22 Add many records from Catalogue 1.Mark records in catalogue 2.View marked records 3.Send saved records (MARC format) 4.Select & copy sent records 5.Open RefWorks and select IMPORT 6.Select import parameters and PASTE 7.Import 8.View Last Imported folder 9.Move to folder TRYIT 10.Create Bibliography and EDIT

51 Your turn Add a new reference YOU chose the name of the book and YOU be the author Put in folder TRYIT Create a bibliography with your book name If style errors, go back and edit Delete from folder TRYIT YOUR TURN

52 Share References Share citation lists with others whether or not they have RefWorks account Stable URL is created – can be e-mailed, added to WebCT or course page or embedded in any website or document To access go to Tools – Share References
