STEP 1 Identify members of your Safe School Action Team and designated Team Leader. STEP 3 Illustrate key points of data analysis. Art. 75.1 paragraph 1 - An analysis of the situation prevailing at the school with respect to bullying and violence. 4 Data Analysis Areas of strength: Strong sense of belonging amongst general student population. STEP 4 Identify a few priorities for improvement of current situation. Art. 75.1 paragraph 1 - An analysis of the situation prevailing at the school with respect to bullying and violence. 5 Priorities Prevent & reduce rates of victimization from bullying with specific attention to Grade 5 boys and girls. Create an environment where all students are proud to be good citizens by creating a “Value of the Month” school- project. Increase awareness regarding bullying.

STEP 5 Indicate existing and planned prevention measures (universal /targeted) to counter bullying and/or violence related to racism, homophobia, sexual orientation, sexual identity, a handicap or a physical characteristic. These measures can include the delivery of specific classroom material, formal classroom discussions educational programs facilitated by community organizations, talks delivered by spiritual community animators etc., communication of code of conduct, etc. Art. 75.1 paragraph 2 - Prevention measures to put an end to all forms of bullying and violence, in particular those motivated by racism or homophobia or targeting sexual orientation, sexual identity, a handicap or a physical characteristic. 6 Prevention Measures Existing measures Playground Organisation Assigned posts for supervision Student Workshops and Speakers Second Step in Kindergarten Playground Coordinator Planned measures Good Citizenship Day “Value of the Month” School Project with monthly lesson plans and student involvement to perform good deeds. STEP 6 Indicate existing or planned measures to promote and support family engagement. These can include the establishment of a safe school family committee, educational newsletters, workshops, organized forums for discussion, etc. Art. 75.1 paragraph 3 - Measures to encourage parents to collaborate in preventing and stopping bullying and violence and in creating a healthy and secure learning environment. 7 Family Engagement Existing measures Family events and activities that promote a sense of belonging to the school Planned measures Information evenings for families on Bullying and Cyber bullying Informing parents of the “Value of the Month” by including a section in the newsletter.

STEP 7 Refer to the Safe School Policy for existing procedures. STEP 9 Refer to the Safe School Policy for existing procedures. Art. 75.1 paragraph 6 - Measures to protect the confidentiality of any report or complaint concerning an act of bullying or violence.. 10 Measures for Confidentiality Existing measures: Safe Physical and Cyber Environment Policy Procedures Planned measures: All reports (written or verbal) concerning bullying or other acts of violence will continue to be treated with confidentiality in keeping with the safe school policy and youth protection act.
