In-School Youth Joined WIA – August 2013 - Goal to become a Pediatrician Began WIA work-experience at Growing Child Pediatrics - November 2013 working with patient files Enrolled in PSC Jan 2014, Nursing Program August, 2014 – Full-time employment with Sacred Heart Pediatric Medical Group in Pace (previously Growing Child Pediatrics)!

Enrolled in WIA January 2014 Dual Enrolled at Jay High School and Locklin Tech’s Computer Systems & Information Technology Program Received Certificate of Occupational Competency Participated in Work Experience while dual enrolled. Outstanding work ethic and desire to learn. Received a Full Scholarship to continue his Post-Secondary education at Locklin Tech.

Out-of-School, Younger Youth Completed Locklin Tech’s Electricity Program Participated in Work Experience activities at Santa Rosa Medical Center and DeGraaf Systems while enrolled in school. Full-time employment with Mundy Companies (Contractor at Ascend) earning $12.55 per hour with overtime opportunities as well as benefits! Ricky says WIA has helped pave the way for him to be successful in his career and for him to have the job he has now!
