2. He was born in Gijón in 1878

3. His father, Nicanor, was a sailor and his mother's name was Brígida

4. When he was a child he studied in Gijón and he painted portraits

5. He travelled to Spain and Europe. He studied in Madrid and he travelled to Rome and Paris when he was 22 years old.

9. Piñole also painted pictures with scenes of customs and contemporary life

14. Piñole married in 1972 Enriqueta Ceñal Costales. He was 94 years old.

15. They lived in Gijón. In 1978,when he was 100 years old, he died.
