Forms: Subject + have / have got + object
Subject + don’t/doesn’t have + object - Subject + haven’t got + object Do/Does + subject + have + object? ? Have/Has + subject + got + object?

Some examples: I have a new car or I’ve got a new car
Sue has got long hair or Sue has long hair Do they have any children? NOT: Have they any children? Tim doesn’t have a job or Tim hasn’t got a job NOT: Tim hasn’t a job - IT’S WRONG!!! How much time have you got? Or How much time do you have? My parents have a holiday flat on the French Riviera or My parents have got a holiday flat on the French Riviera

Now make up the rules yourself:
Use ‘have’ & ‘have got’ + object to talk about ……… and ………. To make the negative form and questions of ‘have’ use …….. To make the negative form and questions of ‘have got’ don’t use ……..! Use ……….. AND NOT ………. to talk about actions
