3 How many print books can I take out? u As Undergraduate: up to 16 items at a time u 4 short loan items at a time

4 Search the catalogue to find your book, electronic or print? u Go to the library catalogue homepage u For books on your READING LIST use, Author or Title u For books on a TOPIC use a Keyword search Or Or Author & main keyword from the book title. Author & main keyword from the book title.

5 How do I find a print book on the shelves? u Find the book on the library catalogue u Check that the item is at the site you are based at. u Check that the item is available u Make a note of the Classmark : 378.170281 COT u Click on Location to find out which floor the Classmark item is shelved.

6 How do I find a book on the shelves? u Books are classed from 000 to 999 u Go to the shelves to find the book u Look for classmark number e.g: number e.g: 378. 170281 COT Read as 378. (point)170281 COT number letter order Use the self-service machine to borrow item.
