Ministerstwo Gospodarki i Pracy 5 SOP Competitiveness - where we are: More than 27,000 projects presented by the beneficiaries. Almost 4,000 projects approved for the total amount of support 3.25 bln PLN (more than 800 mln Euro, i.e. ca 47% of the total value of the Programme). Demand for the support from the Programme much higher than the allocations in almost all measures. Refunded payments of 70 mln PLN (17.5 mln Euro).

Ministerstwo Gospodarki i Pracy 7 Measure 1.3 (2) Expected results - Creating favourable conditions for existing enterprises and the start-ups, - Strenghtening co-coperation between enterprises and the scientific and research sphere, increasing the R&D expenditures in enterprises as well as increasing the number of innovative enterprises, - Creation of new jobs, - Development of post-industrial areas.

Ministerstwo Gospodarki i Pracy 8 Measure 1.3 (3) Types of projects investment projects relating to establishment and development of industrial parks, science and technology parks and incubators of technology; advisory projects - counselling services for institutions managing industrial parks, science and technology parks and incubators of technology.

Ministerstwo Gospodarki i Pracy 9 Measure 1.3 (4) Value of supported projects Investement projects: value of the project higher than 2 mln PLN and not to exceed 45 mln PLN. Advisory projects: value of the projects ranges from 40 thous. PLN up to 2 mln PLN.

Ministerstwo Gospodarki i Pracy 10 Measure 1.3 (5) Eligible expenditures cost of purchase of land (up to 10% of the total eligible expenditure) and of adaptation of land and buildings; cost of decline of value of real estate or equipment and depreciation of real estate or equipment; Cost of purchase or renovation of equipment; expenditure incurred in relation to leasing operations and the leasing rentals; overhead costs of the project, including among others the cost of project management, advisory fees, audit costs, costs of technical and financial expertise. Investment projects:

Ministerstwo Gospodarki i Pracy 11 Measure 1.3 (6) Eligible expenditure feasibility studies, business plans and environmental impact analyses; management and operational support to institutions managing parks and incubators; costs of project managing personnel, salaries of experts’ and subsidiary personnel; costs of analysis, technical-documentation and studies, opening and administering WebPages, seminars, conferences and workshops; preparing, publishing and distribution of promotional materials; creation and development of databases; cost related to implementation of the quality and certification systems ( ISO, TQM); purchase of technology, licences, patents, know-how improving the quality of providing services or enabling providing services; costs of audit and evaluation. Advisory projects:

Ministerstwo Gospodarki i Pracy 12 Measure 1.3 (7) Projects selection 3 application rounds took place during which 129 projects were submitted; 60 projects selected for implementation for the total amount of ca 637 mln PLN (ca 157 mln Euro), which consitutes 92.8% of the total allocation of the measure; Out of 60 projects, 32 are investment and 28 – advisory projects.

Ministerstwo Gospodarki i Pracy 13 Measure 1.3 (8) Incubators of technology 20 projects under implementation (9 investment + 11 advisory). Total value of support for incubators of technology projects amounts to 75 mln PLN (ca 18.75 mln Euro).

Ministerstwo Gospodarki i Pracy 15 Measure 1.3 (9) Science and technology parks 15 projects (8 investment + 7 advisory). Total value of support for science and technology parks projects amounts to 178 mln PLN (ca 44.5 mln Euro).

Ministerstwo Gospodarki i Pracy 19 Measure 1.3 (11) Expected advantages for SMEs diminishing of fixed costs related to business acitivity; local taxes exemptions; access to additional services, such as business advisory, legal and financial services; closer co-operation links with other enterprises located in the parks and with R&D institutions in case of science parks and incubators of technology.
