Who Any undergraduate student Can compete the summer after graduation From any disciple From any school or combination of schools - Collegiate Modified Organisms (CMOs) Three to a team Can bring up to 8 students from each school

What Jeopardy type game Categories and points There are 8 different categories Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Marketing, Management, Agribusiness & Finance, Resource & Policy, Quantitative, and Potpourri There are 5 different point schemes 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 Questions get harder as the amount of points increase

Where and When Southern Agricultural Economics Association meetings first weekend of February Different teams Final round: Legends Competition $100 travel stipend, Student reception 2015 Atlanta GA, 2016 San Antonio TX, 2017 Mobile AL, 2018 Jacksonville, FL Agricultural & Applied Economics Association meetings in either late July or early August School teams Fees: AAEA registration fees 2015 San Francisco CA, 2016 Boston MA, 2017 Chicago IL, 2018 Washington DC

Why Students really enjoy and like: the competition getting to know other students from around the country - networking learning more about their selected profession Must attend at least one session studying the material and then seeing it later in a class looks great on a resume Summer internships

Everything Else Practice Credits Two hours a week One hour on economic basics Students write questions Study materials Mostly definitions from books Buzzers, 2 Computers, AAEA quiz bowl program (one round, step by step instructions) University of Kentucky event Fundraising RADA, raffle, dinner, silent auction
