2 What is it?  The future tense is used to express what will happen. –I will travel to Europe –You will become a businessman  In the future tense all verbs (ar, er, ir) have the same endings!

3 How to form  To form the future tense add the following endings to the end of the infinitive:  The ar, er, and ir are NOT dropped! éemos ásxxx áán

4 The Irregulars  The following verbs have irregular stems, but still add the endings for future tense.  Hacer- harDecir- dir  Poder- podrPoner- pondr  Saber- sabrQuerer- querr  Tener- tendrSalir- saldr  Haber- habrVenir- vendr

5 Practice  I will be a lawyer –Yo __________ abogado/a  We will graduate in two years –Nosotros _________________ en dos años  They will have Spanish class tomorrow –Ellos ____________ la clase de español mañana seré nos graduaremos tendrán
