The student will read, write, & identify the place values of decimals through thousandths.

To read decimals, 1.read the whole number to the left of the decimal point, if there is one; 2.read the decimal point as “and”; 3.read the digits to the right of the decimal point just as you would read a whole number; and 4.say the name of the place value of the digit in the smallest place.
