2. The Realschule Heepen

3. General information:  About 700 pupils (aged 10 to 17) attend the school from the 5th to the 10th class.  They are taught by about 45 teachers  The pupils leave school after the 10th class with a degree that is called „Realschulabschluss“ which is similar to the GCSEs.  Foreign languages: English, French, Italian

4. The main building Apart from the classrooms the RSH has got: 2 Assembly halls European room Cafeteria terrace school garden

5. The new building: inaugurated on 6th May 2011

6. Events The school organizes a lot of events, for example:  Football tournament  Volleyball tournament  School disco  Christmas carols concert  Tag der offenen Tür  Reading competitions  Math competitions  School festival

7. The RSH offers a number of clubs, e.g.: Football Music Art DELF Debating club

8. Chatou in France Comenius exchange with: - Denmark - Greece - Poland - Italy - Turkey
