Checking In Returning Items

Potential Issues There was no slip with the item o Go ahead and check the item in. In most cases you will get a slip and you’ll have no need of the slip. If the item won’t check in, call the owning library. They can tell you which of your patron’s has requested the item. Go to their account and check if the barcode is missing. The item won’t check in (error message) o Make sure that you entered a ‘b’ before scanning the barcode. o Click F1 and enter in the patron’s name. Go to their INNReach field: The item isn’t there – the patron cancelled the hold. Return the item. The item is there, but there is no barcode – Insert barcode.
