Who Can Apply? Citizenship: By the time of award, the individual to be trained must be a citizen or a noncitizen national of the United States or have been lawfully admitted for permanent residence. Individuals on temporary or student visas are not eligible. Degree Requirements: By the time of the award, must have received a Ph.D., M.D., D.O., D.C., D.D.S., D.V.M., O.D., D.P.M., Sc.D., Eng.D., Dr. P.H., DNSc., N.D.(Doctor of Naturopathy), Pharm.D., D.S.W., Psy.D., or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited domestic or foreign institution. Who can apply: US Citizens or Green Card Holders

Peds Grants Office will work with applicant to make sure all items needed are accurate and correct. Talk about the application packet. Mention the items that the Applicant is responsible for (left side). Talk about how the Grants office and Applicant work together.

Work closely with your mentor Ask others to review application sections – Get multiple reviewers Contact Peds Grants Office as soon as start thinking about applying DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE. PLAN AHEAD. IT ALWAYS TAKES LONGER THAN YOU THINK!!!
