5 Ravenscroft Board of Trustees Mr. Victor E. Bell III '74, Chairman of the Board Served the board from 1986-1991 and rejoined the board in 2007. Serves as a Director of First Citizens Bancshares, Inc., and is involved with YMCA of the Triangle Area, the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center (Board of Visitors), the Caring House (Advisory Board), and Habitat for Humanity. Vic and his wife, Mary Grady Koonce Bell, are Ravenscroft alumni, and their daughter currently attends the School. The Ravenscroft community, guided by our legacy of excellence, nurtures individual potential and prepares students to thrive in a complex and interdependent world.

6 Ravenscroft Head of School Doreen C. Kelly Head of School since July 2003. She joined the Ravenscroft faculty in July 1999 as the Director of the Lower School, also enjoying time in the classroom as a Lower School French Teacher. The Ravenscroft community, guided by our legacy of excellence, nurtures individual potential and prepares students to thrive in a complex and interdependent world.

7 Mission Statement The mission of the Parents’ Association at Ravenscroft School is to assist in the promotion of excellence for the Ravenscroft community through active parental involvement. (Adopted April 1997) The Ravenscroft community, guided by our legacy of excellence, nurtures individual potential and prepares students to thrive in a complex and interdependent world.
