2 Beyond the grammar book  Grammar can be learnt in a non-informal way, learning it gradually through reading and listening. It is essential to read in English to ‘enter’ the English way of expression  Try to memorize short texts which contain grammatical structures you want to learn  If there is a grammatical structure you find difficult, try to learn it visually – cover the fridge in coloured grammar  Does your grandmother live in Bucharest?  Compare English structures with Romanian ones  Songs often contain useful grammatical structures
