9925 million people suffered from hunger in 2010. 2263 million are all from Sub-Saharan Africa and North and Eastern part of Africa. 113.6 % of the world population lives in hunger.

DDemocratic Republic of Congo has the most hungry people in the world. OOnly 2% of their land is arable( usable for farming). MMost of their food is high in price because of no land is farmable, and not many people can afford food.

GGebisa Ejeta was a plant breeder & he also studied genetics. TThis method of planting helped millions of hungry children in Africa. HHe could find a way to plant sorghum and make it last through droughts and he could make clones of these plants.

Plant Breeding involves pollen and genetic engineering. Plant Breeding kind’ve makes plants become pet-like. Plant Breeding has been around since the start of civilization. When you plant breed, you can make a plant suitable for a specific environment. They can do this on animals, food, and other things.

IIn 2010, 1 in every 7 households lived in hunger. EEvery 3.6 seconds, a person dies from hunger, 75% of them are children. 22 billion people are poor.

We are the country that everyone looks up to. If we spread the word maybe more and more countries would help. We can be the role models in the world. Another reason, it isn’t fixed is because we don’t have to face this in our lifes.

These changes can be started at Northside and end up with many changes to Africa and other countries. They have the same rights as us and they deserve more. If we don’t help, WHO WILL?
