2. For Everything there is a Time
There is an appointed time
for everything,
and a time for every affair
under the heavens

3. A time to be born and a time to die;

4. A time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant

5. A time to kill, and a time to heal

6. A time to tear down and a time to build

7. A time to weep, and a time to laugh

8. A time to mourn, and a time to dance.

9. A time to embrace, and a time to be far from embraces

10. A time to seek and a time to lose;

11. A time to keep, and a time to cast away.

12. A time to rend, and a time to sew;

13. A time to be silent, and a time to speak

14. A time to love and a time to hate;

15. A time of war and a time of peace.

16. The work isn’t finished
Take a moment of quiet to decide on one practical, ‘doable’ action that you can take, THIS WEEK to be a peace maker or builder.
Share your decision with someone near you.
Now, share a sign of peace with those around you.

17. Pray together: Lord of tears and joy, it seems like we are watching peace take hold in some parts of our world. Help us create everlasting peace, both in lands where unrest continues, and in our own hearts.

18. Help us to be builders, and hear our prayer for rebuilding in the Middle East, Africa, Ireland, and all places where bombs and bullets have torn down buildings, lives and relationships.
