2
Bullying isn’t nice, think twice Over the years bullying has become more and more effective in contributing to childhood/teenage suicide with over 83% of teenagers admitting to causing or being the victims to bullying.
3
The purpose of this campaign is to create a better environment on the internet for children to use. Also to want to give parents more trust that the internet is safe. But don’t forget that we also to want prevent minors from committing suicide.
4
The direct group of impact would be people that don’t yet know about cyber-bullying and increasing awareness. The secondary group would be the group becoming directly affected by the cause of cyber bullying for examples being the bully and the person being bullied.
5
The goal of our campaign is to recognize that bullying isn’t only face-to-face it can happen in many different forms and shapes one of which being cyber. When people are cyber bulling some do not even know, and some cases are even life threating. Even though cyber bullying is implied to use a computer some cases are done with electronics with examples like the: Xbox 360/ Xbox one, PlayStation 3/ PlayStation 4, and Wii. Basically any item that can access the internet can be a gateway to enter cyber bullying.
6
95% of social media (tested in teens) have witnessed cruel behavior on social networking sites, they have seen others ignoring the mean behavior; 55% of them witness cyber-bullying almost daily. 45% of the people that witness cyber bullying try to intervene and prevent the person from being bullied and try to help them from being harassed.
7
We are planning to distribute brochures that give information about cyber bullying; what causes it and how we can help prevent cyber bullying by starting our own foundation. We plan to also organize a parade to help improve awareness about this issue, and will begin to give information about our foundation. We want our campaign to act out on cyber bullying as long as cyber bullying lasts.
