Review the “Outbreak” article from the Junior Scholastic magazine. Look on page 14- Find the Your Turn activity. On a new front page of your journal, complete the activity by writing an essay that answers the questions. Ms. Baskin is your audience, so use high formal diction and make sure to include a variety of sentence types from the syntax lessons of last week. Show evidence of brainstorming. Skip Lines on the Essay! (plan to re-do if you don’t) GT- choose a different audience, changing diction and syntax to relate to the specific audience.
