I Must Be Proactive I Must Begin With The End In Mind I Must Put First Things First I Must Go For The Win-Win I Must Seek To Understand, Then To Be Understood I Must Synergize With Others I Must Continue To Sharpen My Saw

2 Kings 6:24-25 (CEV) 24 Some time later, King Benhadad of Syria called his entire army together, then they marched to Samaria and attacked. 25 They kept up the attack until there was nothing to eat in the city. In fact, a donkey’s head cost about two pounds of silver, and a small bowl of pigeon droppings cost about two ounces of silver.

II Kings 7:1-16 7 Elisha answered, “I have a message for you. The Lord promises that tomorrow here in Samaria, you will be able to buy a large sack of flour or two large sacks of barley for almost nothing.”.

2 The chief officer there with the king replied, “I don’t believe it! Even if the Lord sent a rainstorm, it couldn’t produce that much grain by tomorrow.” “You will see it happen, but you won’t eat any of the food,” Elisha warned him

18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen
18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18)

Scarcity vs. Abundance Mindset
Scarcity mindset people see life with “limited” lenses. They believe that there is “only so much” to life to enjoy (one pie) and when they see someone else taking what they perceive as a large slice of it, they are convinced that that means less for them… (Zero- Sum Paradigm of Life)… How happy are you with other peoples’ success while you are still waiting? Do you find yourself pulling away when others have good news or demeaning the validity of others…? Do you get threaten, and find it difficult to share credit, recognition, power or profit with others…? (What about me?)

What Do You See Out There For You?
Perception is the end result of your organizing identifying and interpreting the sensory information in an effort to understand your environment and form a “Mindset”. Our “Mindsets” are based on our perception of things and must live with the consequences of that mindset… Measure twice……..Cut ONCE!
11
What Do You See? “Confession”
12
What makes the fundamental difference between the haves and the have-nots is the strength of four particular beliefs: There is a suitable and sustainable “Market” for what God created me to be on the earth! My presence adds “value” to every place I have been assigned… I must learn to eliminate people, place, and activities that devalue me and develop value that I have. I must continue to communicate internally my value until others catch on to the revelation.

I don’t Believe In Abundance!
2 The chief officer there with the king replied, “I don’t believe it! Even if the Lord sent a rainstorm, it couldn’t produce that much grain by tomorrow.” His temporary status shaped this man’s outlook to point where he was willing to openly confess “Things can’t change”.

Creating an Abundant Mindset…
This week send a note of gratitude to someone who you can credit for helping you succeed at something! Compliment someone everyday this week! Read something about an achiever in your field (business, family, health).. Start a “To Be List”
