Information is organized under event description, readiness, response, and recovery. Links to our resources are included in the Recovery section for each disaster type. Resources are available in languages other than English.

Psychological First Aid PFA Print Psychological First Aid (PFA) is an evidence-informed approach for assisting survivors of disaster and terrorism. Online PFA online includes a 6-hour interactive course that puts the participant in the role of a provider in a post-disaster scene. 6 CE credits available through various organizations. Terrorism and Disaster Speaker Series http://learn.nctsn.org/ In this series, experts from throughout the NCTSN discuss topics related to the impact of terrorism and disaster on children as well as clinical issues such as assessment and treatment. The series is designed for clinicians, researchers, advocates, policymakers, and the general public who wish to better understand how terrorism or disasters affect children.
