3. How do we work? We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum We organise the children by key groups who have designated staff who support, monitor and document their learning and progress This is done through group activities, child initiated and adult directed activities.

5. Adult directed activities This is where we focus on particular skills we want the children to learn or practise.

6. Child initiated activities Child-initiated learning involves children making decisions about what they want to do, where, with whom, and what resources they will need. During this playing time, children need support from adults in a variety of ways to model learning.

7. Personal, social and emotional development This is pivotal area in Foundation Stage on which all learning hinges. This area covers managing their relationships and behaviour, and increasing their self- esteem and confidence.
