Usted/Ustedes commands The Factor To tell someone respectfully to do or not to do something, use usted commands. You form Usted commands with the yo form of verbs in the present tense. Drop the –o and add the following. A® e a E®/i®

Add no before the verb to make commands negative Irregular: Verb-> Usted/Ustedes Dar-> dé /den Ir -> vaya /vayan Saber -> sepa / sepan Hacer-> haga/hagan Estar -> esté / estén Ser -> sea /sean

The definition: -ísimo/-ísima/-ísimos/ísimas attaches to adjectives to indicate an extreme degree of a quality: hermosísimo very beautiful (hermoso beautiful ) Intensifiers: To add emphasis to some adjectives, you can attach the ending ísimo/-ísima/- ísimos/ísimas. If the adjective ends in a vowel drop it before adding the ending. When the last consonant is a c, g, or z, spelling changes are required before adding –ísimo(a)(os)(as) Examples: C->qu rico -> riquísimo g->gu largo -> larguísima z->c feliz -> felicísimos

Rules: 1. If the adjective ends in a vowel, drop it before adding the ending. –D–Dulce Las fresas son dulcísimas (remember the ending matches the noun its modifying). 2.
