What would a feast for Jesus look like?
3
Would the table be laden with gourmet delicacies?
4
When Jesus was on earth He often ate meals with his followers. He showed that it is good to fellowship and celebrate with food.
5
He also showed that a feast was less about the food you eat and more about who was at the table.
6
Jesus fed the 5,000 so that no one would go hungry…
7
He ate with sinners, so that all would know they were welcome in His Kingdom.
8
Shouldn’t we do the same?
9
There are 925 million undernourished people in the world.
10
That means one in seven people do not get enough food to be healthy.
11
Shouldn’t we do something about it?
12
CRWRC is working on your behalf to respond to disasters…
13
…Equip people to grow more food…
14
…Help families earn more money…
15
…and advocate for a more just society.
16
Your support of CRWRC makes this possible.
17
Your prayers, your gifts, your involvement, and your voice do make a difference.
18
Please prayerfully consider what you can give to help others around the world.
19
Your gift will help families put food on the table…
20
…And remind them of the feast of Christ’s love to which we all are invited.
21
I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom. (Luke 22:29-30a)
