Enhancing Resilience in a Changing Climate/ Renforcer la résilience en face de changements climatiques Earth Sciences Sector /Secteur des Sciences de la Terre Value for Canada and Human Civilization PCW will revolutionize the capability for Arctic monitoring and communications; This is comparable to launching the first LEO and GEO satellites, the first man in space, the first mission to the Moon; This project was a dream for two generations that will come true in 2016 ! Canada is positioned now as the best nation in the world to achieve this Space technology readiness Data processing and assimilation readiness Strong users needs and support from OGDs (EC, DND, INAC, DFO, DFIAT, CRC, NAVCAN among others) Strong alignment with Government of Canada priorities in the Arctic
