It’s Dark In There Caves that are formed inside glaciers by melt water (water from melted ice or snow) that runs through cracks in the ice, producing tunnels and openings Caves that are formed in cliffs and ledges along the shores of oceans and other large bodies of water where the constant pounding of waves wears away rock Caves that are formed when the outer surface of a lava flow begins to cool and harden while lava inside remains hot Caves that are formed through the chemical interaction of air, water, soil, and rock
